Where can it be used ?

One of Crime Manager’s main strengths is that it is web based. This means that it can be used across a LAN or WAN and means that any person with access to the system can use it wherever they are based and work with anyone else wherever they are based. Officers located in different force areas and even different forces can work together. A good example of this is the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, the first purchasers of Crime Manager who work over a five force area and for whom the system was originally designed and written.

How many people can use it ?

Crime Manager has no real practical limit to the number of people who can use it. Based on the same structure of software provided to a main UK Police force which ran a tasking and briefing system 24 hours a day with hundreds of concurrent users. This system has suffered no down time in the four years it has been used.
