SpecIntell
SpecIntell was the first application written by Merlins Web.  It is a football match day incident database designed to record breaches of ground safety regulations by fans attending football matches.  The system has the capability of recording not only the incident but also the full details of the offenders including photographs and or video footage together with all evidence in support of the incident should the need arise to prosecute. In addition, because its a web based application all data recorded within it is instantly available to other clubs using the database.  Security is paramount in an application such as this and the system uses numerous layers of protection which exceed even those used in on line banking.  In the numerous years this application has been running no breach of security has ever taken place. Taxi Driver Data
Written at the request of the Rushcliffe Borough Council in Nottinghamshire this application works in much the same way that SpecIntell does.  It is aimed at rogue taxi drivers who breach local private hire regulations and who are then banned from that particular council list.  Entering the drivers details makes them available to any council user of the database thus preventing the driver from merely moving to the next council area and starting again.  Again a very affordable application based on an annual licence fee per council, which complies fully with Data Protection legislation and uses the same security standards as SpecIntell. Taxi Driver Test
A fully customisable on line testing database which can be used as part of the process for assessing whether a taxi driver applicant has the potential to be licensed by a council.  The database contains numerous traffic sign and signal pictures used in a multiple choice test.  In addition the council using it can load it with questions relevant to their area to test local knowledge.  The questions asked are randomly chosen so no two exams are the same and all candidates details are recorded along with the test they take for later reference and to guard against unfairness allegations.  the pass rate and number of questions can be controlled by the using council.  This application can be supplied for use on the councils own Intranet or we can host it securely for you on own own servers.
